    Pete Dunne

Of all the young guys in the WWE Dunne is the guy that I am most excited to see develop. He can pull off the flashy move-fest matches really well but there is something very old school about the way he looks and wrestles too, really injects character into everything that he does. His match with Bate at TakeOver Chicago last year was one of my favourite two matches of the year.

Was a shame he didn't show up in front of his home crowd at Smackdown or Raw this week. Would have brought the house down if he had answered the open challenge.

I dig Pete Dunne, it's amazing how much he's already developed in the last few years. I saw him live at King of Trios in 2015 and frankly didn't give him a second thought, but he's really transformed since then. What I like most about him right now is his aura, his character is apparent in his look and basically everything he does, and to me that's even more valuable than being good in the ring (which he definitely is).

Yeah, he has an aura of danger around him. You believe he is capable of nasty things.

Is there a British wrestler with more of the world at his feet than Dunne right now? Seems to be doing a better job than most at making the business work for him.

I mean I guess you could say ZSJ, but Dunne's managed to get into this position before he's even turned 25.

He's got the advantage of coming into his prime at just the right time, of course, but yeah, Dunne has really run with the ball. Amazed WWE hasn't found a way to use him full time yet honestly.

    Still UK Champ.

Except from the continuous back and forth headbutts bit I really enjoyed his match with Zak Gibson in the final and the three way match with Moustache Mountain against The Undisputed Era. The look he gave Adam Cole when he did the 'ba-be' bit.

I have noticed he is certainly in peril a bit more than I feel like he was when he was first introduced. I guess it is all part of the slow face turn he is doing I just hope they keep the balance right and don't damage his character while they transition him over.

Man, you'd think headbutts would be firmly out the door by now. They're so dangerous and often don't even look very good. Seems like they're more common than ever though. Sucks especially for a guy like Dunne, who doesn't need them at all to stay over.

Anyone have any thoughts about how to the UK title is going to work when NXT UK gets up and running? Presumably Dunne's (or whoever is champion) NXT dates will disappear?

There's a report out there that Dunne suffered a severe injury so i don't know what is happening with the title.
