Heard that a few times today. Sultry isnít the correct word to describe it, but itís the first word that comes to mind.

I'd say subdued, particularly given how over produced pop music can be. It feels like the song has space to breathe which I really like.

Also intimate but not just because of the lyrics which are incredibly so. Taylor's vocal performance has a much more natural feel to it, I can see this one transitioning pretty well to a solo performance with just an acoustic guitar.

Been reconnecting with the Killers lately. I always liked them (except, for whatever reason, "Somebody Told Me") but I never fully dived into their stuff. This is my favorite discovery so far.

Nice! Haven't heard that one in a while.

One of my favorites, there's something very poignant about this one to me. Gives me the feeling of finally recognizing and confronting a situation that's become unlivable, and hope for making a change for the better.

Just got into Dirty Honey. They are a slightly, very slightly harder version of Greta Van Fleet, but still really good.

Kanye West - Jesus is King album. Want to devour it all tonight, but I'm doing reactions to each song the first time I listen. So far, listened to two songs, including "Everything We Need" and "Selah."

this probably is not going to set anyone's world on fire around these parts, but I've been on a big Belle & Sebastian kick recently

I've been listening to The Company Band, which was an album made by a supergroup of the same name featuring musicians from Clutch, Fireball Ministry, Fu Manchu and CKY. I think it's a belting album, personally.

This has been in my rotation of late.

This is one of the more prominent songs of an EP that they've brought out lately.

Just listened to one of my favorite RHCP songs (I know, I've brought them up before). A song about their reaction to hearing the news about Kurt Cobain's suicide.

I've loved these guys for years, but this is still my favorite song of theirs. This is a pretty awesome accoustic version of the song, followed by a light hearted rendition of Oxford Comma- another one of their songs I love.

I have Vampire Weekend kicks like 2-3 times a year. Just love so much of their stuff and style.

They had a song on the radio I liked a little while back. I'll have to have a dive in and see if there's anything else I like.

NIN track I knew well. Tearjerker by RHCP I had never heard before but like a lot. Wasn't too fond of Dirty Honey but I guess that's just me.

I like stuff that stands out on the radio, and the song above did just that for me a few years ago. It has a lot of charisma. Still dig it today.

This is a newer song, released this year that fits that category- sticks out like a sore thumb on today's radio, and it is good. These guys have been their own trend for years and years now- dating back to "Hang Me Out To Dry", which ruled my playlist the summer of the year it came out. This song has a lot of swagger. I've been enjoying it since I heard it on the radio a few weeks back.

Some old school Grime. I think this guys still in prison.

I've checked out the new shit Drill on the radio which isn't as bad as I originally thought. But you really have to listen to the lyrics, the rest is pretty bland. It's all about gangs etc though.

If that really isn't your thing heres John Lennon.

Some nice suggestions in here... this one is a couple songs ahead yet on my playlist, but I'll throw it in since I'm a big fan of it:

fantastic choice Mizfan. I actually just set Highwayman as my default ring tone on my phone. I just saw Kristofferson play here in the Twin Cities. For an 83 year old, he's still got it.

My Dad's favorite singer when I was growing up was Cat Stevens, so I still tend to dig up his stuff regularly. Just listened to this one:
