I am a four time title holder between WCW and WWE.
I have wrestled 304 matches in my career but only 69 on TV or PPV.
During my career, I was well respected, and considered one of the best, but I was notorious for one very memorable action.

Well that was easier than I expected it to be.

Tried to think of notorious folk that wouldn't have had many matches. Figured the women of that era were a good place to start, as they likely got hosed for TV time, and no woman more notorious across those two companies!

    Here ya go:

    1. I have held 1 title in WWF/E
    2. I worked very briefly for TNA
    3. I won that title despite never being officially announced as a participant in the match

    Nope. Another clue;

    4. The title that I won is now defunct.

I was going to see if it was Brian Adams, maybe had one match in TNA before he passed, but I think Brian Christopher might be a better shout.

Wow, he only held one title, that's crazy. Incorrect I'm afraid!

    Edit, incorrect on both.

Maybe the old tag straps or the old Cruiser and light heavy titles, too?

Pretty sure Zeke was the IC Champ for a cup of coffee.

Molly Won more than 1 championship. She was the Hardcore Champ, and a 2 time Women's champ.

If not for the valiant efforts of others narrowing this down I never would have gotten it. I don’t even know her name, I assume her legal name is Godfather’s Ho!

    1) I notoriously caused two pretty severe injuries in the ring against main event competitors, the first occurred in the 70s and the second in the 90s
    2) I forfeited a major American Heavyweight belt (rumor has it to avoid jobbing)
    3) I am a WWE hall of famer

    Stan Hansen

    Bruno's neck and Vader's eye.

I'll just give the clues since for once, I know I am correct lol....

    1. I am a three time WWE champion of one particular title, even though I held two other title belts.
    2. I worked with a future World Champion without even knowing it.
    3. I am a 2 time Slammy Award Winner.

I knew the hardcore title... I couldn’t remember off the top of my head if she actually was the women’s champ or not.

Clue 4: I was part of 2 stables. The first, I was the leader of the Stable, and the second I was brought in for a major role, but replaced less than 3 months later.

Can you explain what you are thinking in clue 2? Seems to me everyone who works with a future world champion doesn't know it because no one can know the future. So I guess you must have something different in mind for it, but it's not overly clear from the current wording.

"The worst moron is the one too stupid to realise they're a moron."

I was taking it as the person died before the person they worked with became a world champ?

It could be. But I think people might have more luck if that clue is made clearer.

Ok. I see what you mean. So clarification for clue #2:

"I worked with a future World Champion without even knowing it."

I worked with this future World Champion well before he/she was even a wrestler.

I don't know if this fits every clue but it does enough for a guess. Ted DiBiase.

Oooo...that’s a good one. I’ve been stuck on the stables being WWF/E stables and realize that that was my own flawed reading of the clue.

Ding, ding, ding...we got a winner. Prime nailed it, with Ted Dibiasi.

    1. I am a three time WWE champion of one particular title, even though I held two other title belts.

I am a three time WWF Tag Team Champion with IRS, yet I held the WWF Title for 8 days when Andre surrendered it to me, but I was never recognized as champion, and I held the Million Dollar Championship, yet again it was never a recognized title.

    2. I worked with a future World Champion without even knowing it. (I worked with this future World Champion well before he/she was even a wrestler.)

When I pulled in people from the audience into the ring to challenge them for a $100 bill, one lucky kid named Rob Szatkowski, better known as Rob Van Dam, was chosen and kissed my foot and earned $100.

    https://www.wwe.com/videos/rob-van-d...nge-aug-8-1987

    3. I am a 2 time Slammy Award Winner.

Clue 4: I was part of 2 stables. The first, I was the leader of the Stable, and the second I was brought in for a major role, but replaced less than 3 months later.

He led the Million Dollar Corporation for 2 years, and then he was brought into WCW as the 4th man in the nWo and as the financier, and he was supposed to be the mouthpiece of the stable, but Bischoff wanted that role and took it from Dibiasi three months later, and Ted went home but still got paid.

Clue 5: I am a WWE Hall of Famer

Clue 6: 2 separate parts of my gimmick were pot shots at another wrestler.

The Million Dollar Dream finishing move was mocking the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, as was the name of his lackey Virgil.

Ah yeah, I'd heard some of that stuff before (including a counter to the argument that the stuff was a shot at Dusty which isn't everyone's story). But I had no idea at all about Van Dam, that's a cool nugget of trivia.

    1. I was an NWA Champion.
    2. I also owned a stake in a wrestling territory.
    3. I spent the last six months of my career with the WWF before retiring.

Probably not correct, b/c I do not think he owned a piece of a territory, but Sting fits clues 1 and 2.
