Trying to get this going again...

    1. In the WWF/WWE I have wrested/appeared on TV under 6 different names/gimmicks.
    2. I have only held 2 different WWF titles, one run each.
    3. I accidentally made a historic kick out.

    4. The wrestler from clue 3, that was the going for the pin, and I owe our careers to the same non-wrestler but in very different ways.

    It's Charles Wright isn't it?

    1) Papa Shango, Kama, Kama Mustafa, Godfather, Goodfather, and Sir Charles (which he made a few appearances as)
    2) IC and Tag Straps
    3) WM 8 with Hogan (I can't believe I didn't get this sooner and it took clue 4 to get me there)
    4) Sylvester Stallone

    YES!

    You got everything correct.

And in case someone does not know, Papa Shango missed his cue, and was late, causing Sid to be the first guy to kick out of Hogan's leg drop.

AND Wright got noticed while tending a bar that some wrestlers attended during the filming of Over the Top. So Stallone was inadvertently responsible for Wright becoming a wrestler.

cool...I'm going to do a quick one and if someone feels confident that their guess is correct they can just go ahead...it could be a while before I am able to check in.

    1) I had six gimmicks during my time in the WWF
    2) I held one WWF championship one time
    3) I was trained by one of my tag team partners

    ok...I'll add a fourth clue

    1) I had six gimmicks during my time in the WWF
    2) I held one WWF championship one time
    3) I was trained by one of my tag team partners

    4) two of my gimmick changes were due, at least in part, to their offensive nature to some segment of the viewing audience

    tis indeed.

    1) Mosh, Chaz (x2 - post Beaver Cleavage and as part of Lo-Down), Beaver Cleavage, Spider #1, Mother Smucker
    2) 1 time tag champ
    3) Chaz was trained by his long-time tag partner Glenn Ruth (aka Thrasher) as well as Larry Sharper

    4) Mother Smucker as part of the Flying Nuns (Sisters of Love) and Beaver Cleavage both had a swath of detractors and ultimately were probably both cut short due to the overall offensive nature to some of the audience.

    Have at it!

  8. #1688
    Will give it a try

    1) I won tag titles with four different partners
    2) I won a title at Wrestlemania
    3) I was born in California but was billed from another state through my time in WWE

The only people I can think of that won tag Titles with 4 different partners are:

Cody Rhodes, who was born in NC
Big Show, who was born in SC
SCSA, who was born in TX
    Undertaker, also born in TX
HBK, who was born in AZ
    Cena, born in Mass
    Miz, born in OH

Obviously not any of them then

    Sweet.

    1. Despite spending plenty of time in WWE and TNA, I never won a title in either.
    2. I have however had title matches for the WWE title, World Tag Team title, Intercontinental title and World Heavyweight title. All on TV/PPV.
    3. I've been on the independents for the past two years.

    Bonus Clue

    4. My finisher in WWE was built up a lot as a finisher.

    We have a winner.

He competed for the WWE, Tag and IC title multiple times. He was also in the Smackdown Battle Royal that crowned Khali as the WHC.

And his finisher was the Masterlock, which no one broke out of, until Cena did it a good few months (maybe a year or lonegr) later.

Not to nitpick here, but technically speaking, no one officially broke the Masterlock. Lashley came the closest, but was not given credit as actually doing it as the Lock was never fully locked in. And then Cena was about to break the hold, but Edge attacked and hit Cena with the championship belt, so the challenge ended. So technically, the Masterlock challenge in the WWE was never broken.

Ah yes, I meant to say Lashley. Not sure why I said Cena.

I had another waiting in the wings so I'll go ahead.

    1. I have wrestled under masks before, but I'm not known for it.
    2. I share a "first" with a major wrestling star.
    3. I am credited with popularising a finishing move which has become diluted these days.

    In that case...

    4. I have held a WWF title, in strange circumstances.

    Not Tom I'm afraid.

This may give it it away.

    Yes! Congrats

    1. I have wrestled under masks before, but I'm not known for it.

Earlier in his career he donned a mask a few times to hide his identity

    2. I share a "first" with a major wrestling star.

He wrestled the first ever match on WCW Thunder against Macho Man Randy Savage

    3. I am credited with popularising a finishing move which has become diluted these days.

He popularised the Superkick which, bar a couple of wrestlers, is now more of a transitional move.

    4. I have held a WWF title, in strange circumstances.
    6. The strange circumstances in clue 4 is to about the fact that I never wrestled in WWF...

He won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship while wrestling in the UWA. The title was loaned out to numerous promotions before coming back to the WWF in the 90s.

    5. I trained a very popular wrestler.

None other than Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Jumping in to get this going again.

    1. I have worked for basically every major wrestling promotion in the world and I am still on an active roster.
    2. My first recognized match was in 1993, yet my first 2 matches for a major promotion was in 1998 in dark matches.
    3. I have wrestled under a mask on multiple occasions with three different masks/gimmicks.

    Should be relatively easy.

I was in the second attempt of a reboot of a famous stable, but this one was not as good or successful as the first one, but the name was more similar.
