    Clarence Mason?

I am running out of managers whose names are plays on real people or shots at others. Mason was a "shot" at OJ Simpson's lawyers.

I might be wrong but I don't remember Clarence Mason managing any singles champions, so he'd be wrong on that clue at least.

If there's any doubt when I say that they managed winners of the three titles that made up the old WWE triple crown, I mean that they managed them when they won said titles.

Oh, and it was the mannerisms of Clarence Mason that was an FU to the OJ team (and Johnnie Cochrane in particular), not his name. The 'Mason' referred to Perry Mason, while there's different reports as to whether Clarence was based on Clarence Darrow or Clarence Thomas. Depends on whose version of the story you believe. But yeah, it's wrong because the clue specifically said this person's name is the 'fuck you'.

Think it's wrong, but Mr Fuji?

Can't be Fuji as he wrestled long before his 30s, also I would have no idea on how "Fuji" is an "FU".

I'm out until another clue. No idea to what manager's name is an "FU" besides Virgil/Vincent and Asya.

Chyna would be my next guess, as maybe her nick name of the "9th wonder of the world" is a shot at Andre, but I think she began wrestling prior to 30. And she managed both HBK and HHH, when they won titles.

According to cagematch.com he made his debut when he was 31.

And perhaps he had a previous name that was a "FU" that I wasn't aware of.

Neither is right, though Gooner does have Fuji's debut right, I believe. But unless I'm wrong Mr Fuji is just a shortened version of his surname.

Chyna... no. I'm not sure it passes any of the clues to be honest.

Mr Fuji is the closest guess so far, by some distance.

Well, 31 is in his 30's, I thought Fuji started in in 20s. But prior to Fuji, he was Fujiwara, which again, I have no idea if it is a shot at someone.

Other than that, I am at a complete loss.

I can't find a record of him wrestling, but

    Grand Wizard Ernie Roth

    EDIt
    "start IN wrestling"

So yes, The Grand Wizard was a great name for a Jewish man to FU the KKK

It is The Grand Wizard. As far as I know he didn't wrestle, but he didn't get started IN wrestling until he was in his thirties (I think people misread this a little and tripped themselves up on it). His wrestling/gimmick name was a slap in the face to the KKK because he was Jewish, and he thought they'd hate that he took their wording from them. And he managed Stasiak/Graham to the WWWF title, Patterson/Muraco to the IC title, and Tanaka and funnily enough Mr Fuji to the WWWF tag titles.

    Well done Pen. You're up.

Thanks...but I'll take the next one. I will not be able to check anything from the next 30 minutes to tomorrow morning. Work and I'm going to the Jets/Pats game tonight, so it wouldn't be good game play.

OK - not trying to be too clever, I hope

I've worked in WCW, AEW, TNA, NJPW and WWE
I might just be Gizmo's favorite wrestler
Kind of has Ron Bass hand-me-downs

I think he left wrestling and went into real estate.

Is it Dustin Rhodes? I only know of two people who were in WCW and AEW who were wrestlers and he's the closest one to having 'Ron Bass' overtones.

Billy Gunn. When he debuted he was a Cowboy, as part of the Smoking Gunns. But no idea on the Gizmo reference.

    Billy Gunn is correct.

What's the name of Gizmo's owner and friend?
Billy was a jobber in WCW before signing with WWF.
The Ron Bass part was he was the Outlaw, and Billy was a New Age Outlaw.

Billy. Right....and the Outlaw reference, but also the Mustache, chaps and cowboy gimmick from the Smoking Gunns could be attributed as well.

    Ok. Here is mine.

I had only 313 total matches in my career, yet 73 of them were on a PPV.
I held 7 titles in my career, 5 in the major US based promotions, and 2 in Japan.
I was part of three different stables in my career.

    It's been 24 hours.

Clue #4: I am a 2 sport champion, and I became a 2 sport champion before Lesnar did.

Not a clue. I can't think of anyone who would have a PPV/match ratio like that - it's got to be even more favourable than Goldberg's and Lesnar's, and I honestly can't recall anyone else who has had the schedule of those guys over the years.

I'm sure someone will get it but that one has thrown me off and I can't even imagine who it could be.

According to Cagematch, the 313 matches are the entirety of the career, including all shows.

Wait...shit. So Sorry, the 73 matches are my total Televised matches including 15 PPVs.

Bonus clue because I made a huge misleading mistake: There are 30 years between the first of my 7 titles and the last, and my second match ever was a Title match that I lost against a future WWE Hall of Famer.

Hmm. Still odd numbers. Imply essentially a novelty act, but one that will have gotten some PPV exposure on a semi-regular basis.

Two names in my head but I think the one that works best would be Madusa (or Alundra if you prefer). Definitely works with the stables and I know she went to Japan at some point.

Well done, it is Madusa/Alundra Blaze

The 7 titles are WWE Women's Champ 3x, IWA Women's champ 2x, WCW Cruiserweight, and The 24/7 Championship

She won her first IWA title in 1989 and the 24/7 in 2019

The three stables are The Diamond Exchange, The Dangerous Alliance, and Team Madness

Her first four matches were against Sherri Martel, and her second match was for the AWA Women's title, which she lost.

And finally, Madusa is a former WWE champion, and a Monster Truck Monster Jam Champion.

Ah. If I'd known that she had won the 24/7 title that would have been easier.

    1) I once won a title without *really* working for the company.
    2) I was part of one of the worst received matches and PPV cards in history.
    3) I challenged for multiple WWE-sanctioned championships across my career but was ultimately only able to win two, though I did win each of those multiple times.

I believe the "WWE sanctioned" part is a huge clue. Why not just say WWE titles? So I'm guessing one of the titles from WCW in 2001 might be part of the equation.

My thought on Taz was he did win the ECW title while being a WWF employee in the Mike Awesome fiasco. He was the announcer for ECW December to Dismember, so he was "part of" that match and show. And he's only won hardcore and tag team gold in WWF.

I know I was wrong, but it felt so right. I'll keep guessing.

Your instincts are all pretty good. You don't need to tweak your thoughts too far and you'll get to the answer.

EDIT: And no, not the Boss Man.

this one is really good. I am really struggling to get the perfect fit - usually I know if I will or will not get the answer pretty quickly, but this one is one of those, where I know i SHOULD get the answer and that's what's making it so challenging. Great job with this one.

    Bob Holly?

Won NWA tag titles while in WWF with Bart
Was part of the ECW Chamber of awfulness
Won only hardcore and Tag titles on several occasions
