    Again, fair enough. No problem.

Also about the titles, I am unsure how that was any way misleading. 7 different titles, means 7 different titles. Many times in the past, when a clue talks about title runs, there is a distinction made between title runs and type of titles.

Regardless, the next time I have the conch, I will choose my clues and wording more carefully.

I mean, once you run through it you can see where it all fits. But, when you're trying to work it out.... , infamy tends to mean bad morally, but not bad quality, so when it's being used in a different context it's difficult to think what you might mean. The other clue I think was just that 'non-wrestling role' sounded to me like something in wrestling that wasn't wrestling, rather than in a completely different endeavour. So I got stuck trying to think of someone who could have been a commentator or a GM or some shit, rather than trying to think about who could have been a star outside the business. Though truth be told I wouldn't have gotten anything from that clue as I don't know who the guy is anyway.

Again, not saying some of this isn't fine, but that's why it took a lot of clues. The ones that let you bear down on the answer tended to come later.

EDIT: Ah, I see Pen got there first. Anyway, rather than carrying on the explanation, I guess this means he's up.

For non wrestling role, I thought of Shawn Michaels as the trainer in NXT. I still have no idea Tyler Mane was a wrestler, or that he teamed with Nash. And I have no clue what a Sabretooth is, but Mane is the Shape/Mike Myers in Rob Zombie's Halloween movies.

I still like how you setup the titles. It was a trick, but you executed it well.

Powder, not picking on you. I just feel it's fair to point out why it was a longer round than you expected, and maybe it'll be easier/better the next time. I know some of my clues are tough to decipher too.

    Speaking of:
All my matches in WWF and WCW matches were on PPV
All of these matches were tag team/multi man matches
My partner in my first match was my opponent in my last match

Well done, in record time. I was trying to stick to Powder's actor/wrestling theme.

Ha, there just aren't that many people that only worked PPV so when he popped into my head and I realised it worked... well, lucky I guess.

    1) I have appeared in a number of films since I stopped wrestling full-time.
    2) I wrestled in more than 50 TV/PPV matches in WWE over a two-year period.
    3) I didn't hold a championship in WWE, but held a territorial title as part of a WWE stable.

    Kurrgan?

I'm not sure if you're counting Truth Commission as a WWE stable, but he held the USWA Tag Team Titles as part of the Truth Commission but never held a WWE title, he's an actor...I'm not sure on the match count though.

    Neat!

    Okay.

I am a former World Champion but I have a losing career record.
I've been in the ring with five WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers but am not in the HOF myself.
I've competed in NWA, WCW, WWE and Impact Wrestling.

That movie was a real guilty pleasure of mine, not gonna lie.

    1) I challenged for the WWE and WCW tag titles with five different partners.
    2) Along with one of the great rivals of my youth, I had a hand in training winners of practically every major WWE men's championship (off the top of my head the WWE, World Heavyweight, IC, Euro, tag team, hardcore, light-heavyweight, US all apply, possibly more....)
    3) I once provided the voice of 'myself' outside of wrestling.

He was, and I think you're in the right time frame, but Prime listed mostly WWF titles, so I'm thinking it's someone associated with OVW, FCW or my guess

Can't be an FCW person as that was founded in the mid 2000s after the hardcore belt was gone. So it is most likely someone from OVW, but all I can remember is Danny Davis as a trainer, but I cannot remember him in WCW.

Wait, I think this is a trick question. Didn't Christopher Daniels work as a trainer for years? He also wrestled in WCW and WWE as a jobber, but during those times, jobbers would get title shots on RAW and Nitro. So Daniels.

Daniels never challenged for either the WWF or WCW tag titles to the best of my recollection. But thinking a bit outside the box on clue 2 is probably a good instinct.

    Bret Hart?

"had a hand in training winners" could be viewed vaguely as helping out as part of the Hart Dungeon and "along with one of the great rivals of my youth" could be HBK, who has also trained multiple champions

Competed in Tag matches with multiple partners in both WWE and WCW - Jim, Sting, Goldberg, Owen..

Voice outside of wrestling not sure, but he's appeared as himself in Wrestling with shadows?

It is Bret Hart. The trainer question is that for a spell there in the 1990s, he had a lot of people training at his house (including Edge, Christian, Mark Henry, Kurrgan and Test, amongst others). It was a place not just for young guys buy pet projects of the WWE, and as one of the locker room leaders he played a big role bringing them along. The rival from his youth was not Shawn (Bret was nearly 40 by then!) but Leo Burke, who was doing some of the training of those guys for the WWE and who was one of Bret's most famous Stampede opponents.

You've named most of the tag partners there, the fifth one he challenged with was a one-off with British Bulldog.

And the voice outside of wrestling was when he provided the voice for 'himself' for The Simpsons - in the episode where he bought Mr Burns mansion when he lost all of his money.

Ahhh gotcha... I figured if you said he trained wrestlers then it'd be a famous trainer, but as it was put, it led itself to someone being involved, but perhaps not the man charged with coaching them. That got me started on the Hart Dungeon and then connected the dots. I guess from youth I took it more as being a long time ago... Good one, Prime.

    1. In the last 18 months I have wrestled Cody, Jeff Jarrett, Kazuchika Okada and Shinsuke Nakamura.
    2. I have over 20 title reigns (singles and tag) in major promotions.
    3. I lost something and gained something else when I first joined WWE.

I don't think the titles work, but Shawn Spears/Tye Dillinger. I know he wrestled Nakamura and Cody.

He lost the name Shawn Spears, then got a new name of Tye Dillinger?

Not Tye Dillinger, clue 2 definitely disqualifies him in any case.

Rey Mysterio Jr? He has wrestled eveyone, titles galore, and he lost the original spelling of his name and the Jr. in the WWE.

    PEN15v2 got there first

    1. In the last 18 months I have wrestled Cody, Jeff Jarrett, Kazuchika Okada and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Spent time in Japan, AAA and of course is now back in WWE

    2. I have over 20 title reigns (singles and tag) in major promotions.

I count 22 championships in WCW and WWE

    3. I lost something and gained something else when I first joined WWE.

As mentioned, he lost Jr from his name, but gained his mask

I've wrestled in WCW, AWA, WWF/WWE, TNA - but my only titles were in one of these promotions.
My first title win and the second title win were 7 years apart
Over my career, I've been billed from 2 international locations, but was born in the US.

I've got a guess, but I don't know whether or not he worked AWA. I got thinking about Barry Darsow/Krusher Kruschev as an American that might have been billed from other places - then it hit me that Nikita Koloff was a better bet. And didn't he come back to join up with Dusty in TNA briefly? So yeah, that's my guess. I seem to remember them saying he was from somewhere other than Russia once they made him a good guy, and he was really from somewhere in the Midwest.
