Carrying on with my listening to the bands I used to listen to and seeing what they did after I stopped.

I used to really love their first album, was one of my favourites when it came out. Very cool sound. But the second album was just fine and that was where I left them.

So I started out with Howl, which is their third album. I thought this one started quite promisingly, with an opening track that sounded a bit like their first album. But that was about as good as it got, and I think I tend to side with the people who were more critical of this one. I'm starting to see why they were largely on smaller labels after this point in time.

I'll see if they have a bit of a return to form after this, but I'm not overly enthused. I've got the feeling they might be a bit of a one-album wonder.
